Ariya Capital Group.
Ariya Capital Group, a renewable energy investment firm working across African and global markets.
“It was time to put Ariya more in the public spotlight. We had a clear point of view we wanted to share, but not the platform or bandwidth to make it happen. Dan drafted and edited a comprehensive thought-leadership series resulting in six bylined pieces in just over a year, in The East African and CFI.co. The energy sector in Africa is complex and operating across developed and emerging markets has its challenges, but Dan was able to quickly grasp the context, the nuances, and the messaging needed to raise Ariya's profile as a thought leader in the sector. This added exposure is helping open doors to conversations with stakeholders necessary to the future of Ariya.”
— Dr. Herta von Stiegel, Founder & CEO, Ariya Capital Group
The Situation
Ariya had a genuine point of view on how renewable infrastructure in Africa gets financed, and the expertise to back it. That view wasn't reaching investors, policymakers, or the press. The firm was credible and largely unheard.
What I did
- Built a thought leadership program around the arguments Ariya was best positioned to make on investing in Africa.
- Drafted and refined a series of bylined articles for the firm's leadership.
- Targeted publications that African and global investors actually read, rather than chasing volume.
The result
Six bylined articles placed in little over a year:
- The East African — “Boards on continent are defining future of sustainability governance.”
- The East African — "Powering Africa requires a new playbook and shared investment across the board"
- The East African — "$777bn local capital is lynchpin to Africa's renewable energy boom"
- The East African — "The AI revolution won't wait — and neither should we"
- CFI.co — "Africa's $777bn Opportunity"
- CFI.co — "Project Spark"
