Winter Weekend at Canaan Valley

For Special Love’s Winter Weekend getaway at Canaan Valley, West Virginia, I led a targeted media outreach campaign to elevate awareness of the event and the families it serves. I identified key local television and print outlets, distributed media advisories in advance of the weekend, and followed with a formal press release and customizable feature-style content to support coverage.

The outreach resulted in the local CBS affiliate (Channel 5), publishing a story on their website, including several photos we provided to the station as well, expanding regional visibility and reinforcing Special Love’s mission to support children with cancer and their families.
