I worked with Ariya Capital Group leadership to develop and refine a thought leadership article published in The East African examining the growing energy demands of artificial intelligence and the infrastructure Africa must build to compete in the digital economy. The piece argues that AI-driven technologies—from cloud services to hyperscale data centers—require large, reliable power supplies, and that without strategic investment in scalable energy systems, Africa risks missing the next wave of global innovation.

My role focused on drafting and editing the article, shaping its narrative and key takeaways in close collaboration with Ariya’s CEO to ensure the message resonated with policymakers, investors, and regional business leaders. The final piece highlights the urgency of aligning energy development, investment, and digital infrastructure to support Africa’s participation in the global AI economy.
